Last updated: 7 September 2026. The current site does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address, vehicle identification number, payment information or precise location.
The calculator values you enter are used in your browser to show an estimate. Garage & Grid does not send or store those values or the resulting calculations on a Garage & Grid server, and does not send them to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is not loaded unless you choose Accept analytics. If you agree, it helps us understand general page use and which guide, navigation and Solar + EV discovery links are useful. We do not track calculator inputs, selections or results, and do not send calculator values, derived result bands, names, email addresses, exact addresses or vehicle identification numbers to Google Analytics.
Choosing Reject does not affect access to the site or its calculators. We save your choice in your browser only after you make it, so we can respect it on your next visit.
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver the website, such as device, browser and request-log data. We do not currently run advertising pixels, a login system or a customer database.
